Get The Led Out - Tribute Band Biloxi reviews
Mellencamps gone Country...yuk!!
Get The Led Out - Tribute Band was amazing when I saw him 10 years ago, but this show was completely different! The performance began with a 90-minute film, a black & white documentary detailing life on the road and in the studio with Mellencamp and the band. Initially intriguing, the movie quickly lost its appeal, making me question why it wasn't airing on The Learning Channel sooner.
As 70% of the audience wandered in the corridors waiting for the film to end, discussions revolved around past concerts. Many attendees had heard that Get The Led Out - Tribute Band would primarily perform songs from their latest album for the first hour. When the concert finally commenced, the lead singer's voice appeared hoarse, possibly due to the songs resembling those of Conway Twitty. The subsequent half-hour featured tracks that all seemed reminiscent of Conway Twitty's style.
I reached my limit, as did my companions, and we ultimately decided to leave. We left behind four tickets, totaling approximately $450.00, vowing never to attend another Get The Led Out - Tribute Band show.
